I am thrilled to be a part of the DFW Portraits for Heroes event, a heartfelt initiative where I, as a photographer, am committed to giving back to our community of heroes who selflessly serve and protect us day in and day out. As a fellow member of a family of heroes, I understand the dedication and sacrifice they make for the greater good, and I wholeheartedly believe in honoring and celebrating their service.

THE PURPOSE

Created by KAT TANKERSLEY PHOTOGRAPHY, the DFW Portraits for Heroes event is dedicated to our 9/11 heroes, including police officers, firefighters, military personnel (active, veterans, and retirees), and first responders. It serves as a poignant recognition event, a solemn tribute to the sacrifices they have made in safeguarding our lives and communities, both during the unforgettable events of September 11, 2001 and in the ongoing pursuit of security and protection.

What I Offer


As part of this event, I am honored to offer COMPLIMENTARY family and couples photography sessions. Capturing the essence of love, unity, and strength among our local heroes and their loved ones is a privilege. These portraits aim to commemorate their unwavering commitment while providing them with cherished memories to hold onto.

ABOUT THE HERO PORTRAITS

Who is this for?


To qualify for

this offer you must be in one of the following divisions:


• Police

• Firefighter

• Military (Active, Reserve, Veteran, Retiree)

• First Responder


These sessions are for couples or immediate family only.

About the session


• I am offering 20 minute mini sessions (valued at $275).

• 5 Digitally edited images FREE

• Options to buy the rest of the gallery at a discounted rate if desired but not required

• Gallery delivered within 2-4 weeks


Hero MUST be present at photoshoot, not just book the photoshoot for someone else

Scheduling your session


• You may book only ONE session with ONE photographer in this event

•Do NOT book your session if your are not confident you can make it

• Late arrivals will not be given extra time


Please let me know if you or any other attending members are showing possible signs of the FLU or COVID so we can reschedule.

Other Requirements


• We reserve the right to require proof of service or employment if needed


 If found booking sessions with other photographers participating in this event, your sessions will be cancelled and you will be BANNED



Stockyards Mini-Session


The mini-sessions will take place at the Fort Worth Stockyards cactus garden.

After booking your chosen date, I will send instructions on how to arrive at this location and where to park. (You will to pay a parking fee)
